I agree buying a turbo II would be the best way and least expensive. I got mine for 2000 with a street ported engine and racing beat exhaust. the engine was only 2.5-3 years old. plus an extra tranny, rear diff w/new lsd, driveshave and TONs of extras. I'm keeping the tranny and diff though just incase I brake mine. Good luck on finding a deal like that though. when I saw it and it was local I knew i had to get it. I offered 1900 for it and he said he'd wait for some dude from Hot Spring to look at it.(anthony?) so I gave him the 2000. It needed a new diff mount and some vac hoses but I got that worked out. I still need to get a working wiper switch the relay failed on mine. I could clean the relay I guess.

It was on west capital. it was a good deal IMO. when he told me on the phone it was rebuilt already and streetported Iwas like "where ya at?!"

LOL, Arkansas is still the cheapest place you can buy a FC. In every other state they almost seem to be made of gold now. Which thats ok with me, because my plan I made up when I was 5 years old, "the moment I saw my first 7", will come true. Own all FCs in the state!!! And keep them for myself!! Muwaaa!! Muwaaa!!

im actually rethinking the whole v8 thing i may just swap out my rotary for some cylinders. i dont think i will when it comes crunch time b/c im lovin the whole high rpm action im gettin.

i finally sold my 66 chevy and my 88 f150 custom and managed to bank $4500 from that. so the way im looking at it right now seeings how my stepdads business is taking off (slowly but surely) by the middle or end of summer i should have enough work hours and money saved for my engine swap. i already got the old 13b out of its maiden resting place and i bought my freinds AEM EMS set-up along with his old SAFC-II(which was a freebie ;D). all im needing to know is where i need to get the motor mounts at and also will the rear-end from a fd3s fit my fc3s? also any other parts ill need. thanks in advance for advice and answers ;D

So I've heard only in a TII rear diff though. The torsen is supposed to be the best for Daily driving. Never needs a rebuild unless you apply more than 400hp then you have to get a good clutch type. You probably won't get to 400 for a while so if you have a TII rearend get the torsen unless you wan't a clutch type. If you get a stock one it will probably need to be rebuilt though. I think Mazdatrix has overhaul parts. I looked the other day and they have parts to upgrade the stock friction plates for Competition ones. I'm going for those probably.
