I am looking to buy a 13b twin turbo engine if anyone has one or knows of someone who has one please let me know. I could trade my 13b n/a plus some cash for it.

No, but I know someone on here that would buy it for you. Personally, I think you should get the one of Ebay and sell your engine to Pinoy. He needs one pretty badly right now.

He needs one pretty badly right now. buy it for me? right now im kinda low on cash so i was needing something a bit cheaper. as far as my old engine goes id happily sell it to him but id need the 13b-re before i could do that b/c my se7en is my daily driver

Is your engine only running on 4 or 5 seals? I dont understand. If it needs new seals then it should'nt run. If the engine needs new seals and does'nt run I dont think anyone would be willing to give you anything for it. I could probably come up with the money to get the 13B-RE but I would have to hold it until you paid for it. During that time it would be pure torment and torture for me not to install it in my own car. Also, you have to have an EMS which will cost you another $1300-$2000 in order to install the engine. Not to mention the turbo transmission and drive-train. Basically, it is very envolved and expensive. It is the last thing you want to do if you are on any kind of tight budget. I suggest rebuilding your N/A engine, turbo it, run low boost, and use a SAFC to tune it. The rebuild with a big streetport should run you $1500 at Rotary Doctor, north of Springdale; the turbo, electronics, fabrication, and tuning should only be roughly $1000.

maybe I'll buy one one day. I heard you can run a tii turbo on it and run the stock tii ecu but it'd run like a plain tii with more air flow. I read that and wouldn't commit to it but NW has a far way to go to even get there. I found arron cake,s (rx7club.com)thread from a while back and he spent well over 1000 to turbo his N/A.

my engine is running on 4 or 5 seals but i figure if im gonna take the time to replace one or two i might aswell go ahead and replace them all. the EMS i could get easily b/c ive gogt a freind thats got one for sale for 500 and he would let me have it and make payments on it.

If you are still looking for a 13b twin turbo make sure not to get the 3rd gen 13b REW because the motor mounts are at the back of the motor. The cosmo 13b RE might work though.

thats cool.... I knew that you could buy mounts for the 20b for the 2nd gen but I didnt know they made them for the 13b re.

20b and 13b re have the same mount points I bellive. They were used on the same chassis. The 20b came in the uppper models

i think in all honesty it would be cheaper to find an old turbo II and maybe rebuild it if necessary , than doing a motor swap, tranny, rear diff and all that jazz. If your looking for the cheapest and easiest , then your headed the wrong way. BUT it can be done , just depends what your going for.
