Series 8 ('99-'02) or... Series 6/7 ('91-'98) BTW: Above is the '94 RX7 Type RZ Limited. Only 300 cars were built. This is my inspiration if I stay S6. The J-Spec fenders w/ Sidemarkers are already on their way.

To me it all depends on what wheels you are going to go with, however I have always liked the 99 bumper because it cools better.

Eventually these... Rota Grid 18x9.5 +38 (F & R) Same wheels (+20) on a S14... Not sure of which color yet... I'll decide that once I get to that point. I'm probably another 6-12 months away.

hmm. Ant, you should order me some of those wheels! haha, those are sliick! I wouldn't go with bronze or black. To many ppl already tell me my car looks like the bat mobile!

The A-spec is definitely an acquired taste. The S6/S7 would be about $400 with an R1 lip. The S8 ('99 spec) would be ... $817 w/ shaved plate (making my own rebar & wiring) $840 w/ OE Bumper (making my own rebar & wiring) Every once and a while you can get an OE setup for $800-$900 but there are none out on the market right now. I think I will just keep my eyes peeled for a deal.

I would defiantly go with the 99 spec with those wheels. Are you going to roll/pull the fenders?

I would defiantly go with the 99 spec with those wheels. Are you going to roll/pull the fenders? I'm sure I will have to do some rolling/pulling and run a bit of negative camber. According to the offset calculator, they would have 7mm less clearance inside & extend 31mm (1.3") outward over the stock wheels. FDs have some pretty big fender wells. I might be able to get away with a light roll and camber if I run a 235 or less. I'd like to run at least a 245 though.

I saw a guy running 18x9.5 + 38 FN01RC's w/ 245's up front & 275's in the rear. Fitment was near perfect. I will definitely have to work on raising the funds.
