Come kick off the drift season with us at Memphis Motorsports Park. This is an all day practice with a comptetion at the end of the day.

"The rules will be posted on here in the very short time. There are a number of rules as far as the event itself which we will be following. Most do not concern drivers for the most part. We will follow the rules that TO has had for the last two years as well as the SCCA guidelines. They are basically the same as a Solo event.
The area for spectators will be marked. watchers/posers will only be allowed into certain areas. There will be no non-drivers or spectators at the start line unless you are belted into a vehicle with a helmet on.
Vehicle inspections will be mostly the same. We have never allowed leaks and never will. Seapage is another matter but if it drips you will be a no go.
First and Foremost EVERYONE will sign in at the gate and recieve an armband before entering the premises. All drivers will attend the drivers meeting where we will tell you the exact course for the day and what rules you need to be aware of etc..
Photography video is allowed from the spectator area. Anyone who wants to take professional pictures from other authorized locations around the course must submit your name to me so that I can arrange for a spotter to accompany you.
For a brief rundown of the event everyone will be pitting in the area beside the bleachers, the parking lot area beside the dragstrip. Drivers will be broken down into run groups. The number and size will depend upon the number of entries.
When your run group is called you will be sent to the start line and staged for your runs. During your runs you will be have a distinct finish line and from there you will "troll" or drive slowly back to the start line where you will proceed with your next run until your time has expired and the next run group will start their runs. After your session is over you will return to the pits and wait for your next run group.
Tire changes, repairs etc will be allowed in the pits only. As far as tire services being there.... at this point nothing is for certain. I have one person who can provide but not sure if he will yet. That is something we are trying desperatly to get in the future.
I feel as if I have left something out but if you have any questions just ask. The closer we get to the day the more we will know.
If anyone wants to go ahead and say for sure they are coming no matter what feel free to post up here and let us know what kind of turnout we are looking for. Wink" -Randy
