Found a couple 7's at the local Salvage Yard

Well a friend of mine and I decided to hit up the local salvage yard today to see if we could find a nice candidate to pull an intercooler for my car. We did find a couple (1990 Mazda MX6 2.2 Turbo and an early 90's Saab 9000 Turbo) but what was interesting was a couple RX-7's that we stumbled upon. I took a few quick pictures just in case anyone on here lives anywhere near the Arkadelphia/Hot Springs area because there are several good parts still on these two 7's.

The first one I saw was a decent looking Red GXL 5 spd.







The second 7 I found was a sad looking 1st gen.




Not the prettiest set of cars but they do have a good selection of parts still on them including the complete motor and transmission and many other amenities such as interrior and exterrior accessories. If anyone is seriously interested in checking either of these two out, just let me know.

lol poor firstgen has mildew out the wazoo and looks like mother earth is in the engine bay

I would take both motors for the cores. But too bady the junkyard will think they have gold sitting there.

Eh, I dunno. The guy doesn't seem too lite bright if ya know what I mean. You might be able to cut a deal if they're something you're serious about.

tellem youll tradem to shiny caddy hubs for that pretty red one and 5 bucks for the one with mildew.

Yeah, that S5 N/A core would be pretty useful if it was'nt very expensive. I see that S5 GXL had a pretty good wheel, S5 trim, and calipers on it. Poor SA22!! I think I might go check them out. Where is this yard located?

Alright guys, if you'll just wait a bit. I'm going Friday to get my car from San Antonio so anytime before or after that will be great or I guess you guys could go by yourselves but I was kinda hoping to meet you guys.

We need to try and make it down there this week!! I call dibs on the S5 trim & front & rear caps if good! Trae called dibs on S5 tails if there are any, and I will pick up that core, calipers, etc... if I can get them cheap.

BTW: Are the SA & FB fenders the same?

;D i own that red 2nd gen 7 hahahahahahaha this is funny as hell i must have bought that car right after this post was posted lol that is funny ;D im good friends with Danny Buck the guy who owns the salvage yard and if you are a nice guy he will cut u a good deal
by the way i gave $150 for the whole car
