Why would my car not like to start after it has warmed up. It does'nt like to start back up after I drive it for a while. Do you think it is the plugs? I can think of every reason for the opposite. The strangest thing is that it acts like it is flooded but the standard un-flooding procedures dont help. I had to change the sensor type on the SAFC to get her started when I went to the gas station. Everyone told me "FLAP type 5 in 5 out" for S4 and "6in 6out" for S5. Why would my car only start up under "1in 1out"??

I've been thinking that maybe it does'nt have anything to do with the SAFC and it is just an ole fashion flooding with the plugs slowly starting to foul.

I'm not sure. I dont have my compression checker right now and I dont have a digital one so I get frustrated with it very easily. I would understand it being a compression issue if I could'nt start it when it was cold but not when it is warm?!?!
I'm sure I need a rebuild but I'm in that ultra broke era in owning your own business. I'm just now starting to get to the point of working my way out but it will still be a while before I can afford it. I can come up with $100 here and a $100 there but I have a very difficult time coming up with $2000. Thats part of the reason I'm looking for a running core for my GSL.

LOL!! Dont start with me. I do work and work hard even though it is only about 25% of the time I'm here. I also have to do after-hours appointments as well. Like this coming Monday for instance. ;D

9 out of 10 times when a rotary wont start it is compression related. Little fyi for you guys.

Well, it could be a compression issue but I'm going to go ahead and see how it acts once I get a new turbo on it. I dont think that will cure all of it problems but I'm sure it will be a great start.

I doubt it you are having the same symptoms mine was having, then one day I walked outside tried to start it for a freaking hour, nothing, then I had to roll start it from then on. Sucks trust me.

Good ignition box help keep a low compression motor from flooding out. I have around 85 on my FB and it used to like to flood all the time, after I put that Mallory box on it. The cheapest CDI box I could find (I plan to use them on my FC) and beating the excrement out car once week has fixed any flooding problems its ever had.

I have though about the Jacobs unit bc it is direct plug in, but I can get the AEM unit very cheap.

Go over to the AEM forums and read about the horrors that everyone is having with those units, exp the rotary guys. I personally never had a problem with the Mallory unit in the FB its been on 3 years or so.
