Well for those who dont know I blew an apex seal or two on the dyno back in november. Ive started to take it apart and now have the engine out of the car and starting to strip it down. I looked through the exhaust ports and it doesnt look good in the fron housing. I think i have a bad rotor and the housing might not be good either. The rebuild is definatly going to cost more then I was hoping it was going to. Ill try and find the camrea and post up some pics soon

Ouch, that housing makes me cry just looking at it!! Sorry to see that. When are you going to rebuild it?

Im ordering used housing and rotor monday. Im going to have to see if I need a replacement middle iron too. Razorback wants to know if you still want that turbo and manifold?

I dont think I'm going to need it. I thought about just getting my TII back on the street for now, but I think I'm going to just go ahead and complete my swap.

Thats pretty bad, in fact thats the worst i have ever seen.... when I chiped a apex seal a couple of months ago, I drived on it for 3 days and I was still able to use all my old housings and rotors.....sorry

If you have a depth mic, mic the center housing, the grooves are deeper than .002 I wouldn't use it, expect for a motor that I wouldn't mind blowing up. Also who did your port work?

Chris Rogers did it for me. He is in Virgina. That is something i could do. I was going to take it to a machine shop and see if they could lap it for me. Im assuming they would have a mic there.

Also who did your port work? the guy who did it has been doing it for many years. but ive considered cleaning up his ports for him since im going to have to port the exhaust housing when it gets in to match. my intake porting are below (if i get to move from my apartment to a place with a garage i plan on doing porting as a side job if i do) i did those freehand. they are very small, very mild streetport. and caleb let me know tomorrow how it went with getting them lapped, you can get them grinded down but you would need to prep them some more with fine sandpaper.

ordered the rotor and housing today for 300 shipped. Maybe I can get that by the end of the week. Sending injectors off tomorrow. Ordering fuel filter and seals, gaskets tomorrow too if i have the money by then which is in a different account in a different city.
