Man that makes me wish I hadn't sold the 1st gen I had. That is absolutely beautiful! (Well except the trans...) That shield looks like a great idea. How are you going to mount it? (I have a hard time picturing things sometimes)

I have made a couple of brackets that will bolt on the intake that will be riveted to the shield, should work pretty good. The turbo gets pretty darn hot under boost so any heat blocked from the intake will be a plus.

The heat shield looks good, you should split some small rubber hose to cover the exposed edges. Looks like a sharp corner near the right side of the UIM in the picture.

Yea, once I get the adhesive shielding in I will take the grinder to the corners and smooth it out.

It has 17x10 +12 with 255/40-17 and 17x9 +15 with 225/45-17. I am planning on going wider but I wanted to use the tires that I already had.
